Thyagaraja Aradhana festival at Thiruvaiyaru is dedicated to Saint Thyagarajar, the greatest saint who composed lots of bajans in Carnatic music. The one who witnesses Aradhana festival is considered to be the luckiest. Aradhana festival is conducted every year for five days during the month of January in honor of Thyagarajar who is considered as the father of Musicians. All musicians gather at Thiruvaiyaru & perform together Pancharatan Krithis - which is one of the best of Thyagaraja - by singing and playing instruments. Hearing Pancharatan Krithis at the same time which is performed by all musicians is the greatest moment to the person who loves music. There are no words to describe the experience which you can feel at the time of the performance of these Kirthis
Day 01: Trichy
On arrival at Trichy, Airport, you will be met and greeted by our Thyagaraja Aradhana tour executive and he will assist you for your check in at hotel, overnight stay at Trichy
Day 02: Trichy to Tanjore (65 Kms & 1.5 hours drive)
Visit Rock-fort temple, Srirangam temple and proceed to Tanjore, on arrival check in at hotel and relax, later visit Brahadeshwara temple, overnight stay at Tanjore
Day 03: Tanjore to Kumbakonam (40 Kms & 1.5 hours drive)
Proceed to Kumbakonam, on arrival visit Thingaloor - Chandra Bhagavan & relax at the hotel, later visit Thirunageswaram - Raghu Bhagavan & Swamimalai Murugan temple - one of a six abodes of Lord Murugan, overnight stay at Kumbakonam
Day 04: Kumbakonam
Visit Suryanar - Surya Bhagavan, Kanchanoor - Sukra Bhagavan, Alangudi - Guru Bhagavan, Thirunallar - Sani Bhagavan, overnight stay at Kumbakonam
Day 05: Kumbakonam - Chidambaram - Kumbakonam (70 Kms & 1.5 hours drive / one way)
Visit Keezhaperumpallam - Kethu Bhagavan, Thiruvenkadu - Budha Bhagavan & proceed to Chidambaram and visit Vaitheeswaran Koil - Chevvai Bhagavan & drive back to Kumbakonam, overnight stay at Kumbakonam
Day 06: Kumbakonam - Thiruvaiyaru - Kumbakonam (30 Kms / one way)
Go for an excursion to Thiruvaiyaru to attend Thyagaraja Aradhana festival & enjoy the day, later drive back to Kumbakonam, overnight stay at Kumbakonam
Day 07: Kumbakonam to Trichy (105 Kms & 3 hours drive)
Proceed to Trichy and will be transferred to Airport, depending upon your flight schedule.
