Day 01 : Arrival at Thiruvananthapuram airport :
On your arrival to Thiruvananthapuram airport, you will be escorted in an air-conditioned car by our staff to Kanyamukari, which is 80 km away. Day 02 : Kanyakumari tourist places :
After breakfast, we will proceed straight to Kanyakumari temple, which treasures an idol of virgin deity Kumari Amman (Kanya Kumari) which is made of a black granite stone with a diamond nose ring glittering in the dark chambers of the temple complex. Kanyakumari Amman temple is one of the famous Kanyakumari temple Thereafter, we will visit Gandhi Mandapam, which is a memorial for Mahatma Gandhi. It was inaugurated on 02 October 1952 and houses a library which has a rich collection of books on history, politics and philosophy. Gandhi Mandapam is so famous tourist places in Kanyakumari. After lunch, we will proceed to Suchindram temple, which is 13 km from Kanyakumari. Suchindram temple is dedicated to Trinity and is adorned with beautiful gopurams and musical pillars. We will return back to our hotel room at night for dinner during Kanyakumari tour.
Day 03 : Kanyakumari tourist places (continued) :
On last day of our Kanyakumari tour, we will start our day with a trip to Vivekananda Rock Memorial. The memorial is situated amidst the sea and there is a huge statue of Vivekananda. It is one of the major draws of Kanyakumari and you will have to take a ferry to reach the memorial. After spending some time on the rock memorial, we will go to see Our Lady of Ransom Church. The church has a Gothic style of architecture and was built in 15th century. It has a gold cross on the central tower and a thatched roof. Sea waves form an excellent backdrop for the church. After lunch, we will proceed to see Padmanabhapuram Palace, which is 15 km from Nagarcoil. The palace is known for its military style architectural marvel and wooden carvings. It was the seat of power for Travancore emperors till 1790. At night, we will return back to hotel for dinner.
