It is spread over 300 hectares and its botanical garden has a good collection of flora and fauna. After lunch, we will pay a visit to Perur Temple. Day 03 : Tourist Places in Coimbatore (continued) :
On third day of your Coimbatore tours, we will pay a visit to Marudhamalai Temple in the morning, which is 12 km from the railway station and is dedicated to Lord Subramanya. Thereafter, we will proceed for the sightseeing of Chinnathadagam in Anaikatty range of hills. Experience the soothing breeze of the clouds and try to behold a few drops of drizzle into your palm. After lunch, we will move to Velliangiri Hills, which is abundant with natural resources like shrubs and herbs. A Shiva temple is perched on top of the hills. In evening, we will go to see Forest College, which is 3.5 km from railway station. The college museum has an interesting collection of rocks, pests, fungi and snakes.
