Chennai is the capital city of Tamil Nadu. It is spread over an area of 200 sq km alongside the Bay of Bengal. It has long been a hub of the Dravidian movement in India. Marina beach of the city is considered to be the second largest beach in the world. Fort St. George, Thiruvalluvar Memorial, Crocodile Park and Chennai Musuem are other attractions of the city. Chennai has its own style of music, culture and cuisine, which is starkly different from that of the North India. Temperature of the city varies from 20 degree in winters to 37 degree in summers. Tamil, English, Hindi and Urdu are commonly spoken and understood by the people in Chennai.

Day 01 : Arrival in Chennai :
On your arrival in Chennai, you will be escorted to your hotel room by Tamilnadu Tourism staff. Freshen up and relax. Rest of the day is yours. Take luscious dinner at night and enjoy a sound sleep.
Day 02 : Places to Visit in Chennai :
After breakfast, we will proceed for the sightseeing of Chennai tour, starting with Fort St. George. Built in 1693, it now functions as the Secretariat for Tamil Nadu Government. Proceed to Valluvar Kottam, which is a massive auditorium with seating capacity for 4000 people. After lunch, we will pay visit to Kapaleeshwarar Temple in Mylapore. During evening, we shall visit the Government Musuem and Art Gallery which houses a rich collection of traditional and modern paintings and sculptures. Return back to your hotel room for dinner at night. These are some famous tourist places in Chennai and must visit.
Day 03 : Tourist Places in Chennai (continued) :
After breakfast, we will proceed for Snake Park in Guindy, which is home to a variety of snake species like cobras, vipers, pythons, adders and reptiles like monitor lizards, crocodiles and turtles. The 236 seater hemispherical shaped Birla Planetarium is a right place to give vent to your hobby of amateur night-sky observation. After lunch, you will be allowed to spend your sweet time on the palm fringed Marina Beach, which is the second largest beach in the world. Have a leisure and carefree stroll alongside the beach and try your hands on some water sports during your tour. Return back to your hotel for dinner at night.
