Anna Zoological Park
Anna Zoological Park is situated at Vandalur, on the outskirts of Chennai. It is spread over an area of 510 hectares, 32 km away from Chennai. The Arignar zoological park is populated with exotic species of reptiles, birds and mammals. Since its opening in 1995, its rich collection of animals has been further enhanced with the additions of Nocturnal Sections, Reptile Section and Jurassic Park.
Day 01: Arrival in Chennai
On arrival in the city, you will be welcomed by our representatives at airport or railway station. You will be transferred to your hotel room. Rest of the day is yours. Have dinner and sound sleep for next day's excursion and sightseeing.
Day 02: Visit to Zoological Park
You will be driven in our AC cab / bus for 32 km to the Park in the morning. The park boasts of 170 species of mammals, reptiles and aviaries. You will be allowed to explore the park with our guides or you may alternatively explore it of your own. Stone boards are erected at all convenient locations in Arignar Anna Zoological Park that will provide you useful information about the breeding, feeding and mating habits of the animals. Prominent animals species found in the park are Sambar, Nilgai, wolf, Leaf-capped Langur, Lion-tailed Macaque, Barking Deer, Black Buck, jaguars, elephants, giraffes, camels, tigers and monkeys.
Return back to your hotel at night. Have dinner and take morning flight back to your home town.
