Pondicherry beaches are a must visit ones in Tamil Nadu, their brilliant colours radiating all over the city is a lovely sight to behold. There is no particular time to visit these beaches, you can go in any month of the year. To be very specific, November to January can be more enthralling and rejuvenating, with light clouds and less sunny days.

Pondicherry is well connected by train, plane and bus. There are frequent busses from Chennai. You can take busses from Koyambedu, Chennai. A broad railway gauge connects Pondicherry to Chennai through Villupuram. There are two passengers trains running to and fro from Chennai Egmore to Pondicherry. Airport in Pondicherry is a small one, mostly crowded with spice jets.
